Mega Pike roadshow rolls into Norfolk

Mega Pike The Roadshow rolls into Norfolk for a talk and slide show. Co-authors Eddie Turner and Jason Davis, who unveiled some incredible catches at this year's PAC Convention, will be at Bawburgh Village Hall at Bawburgh, near Norwich, on Thursday, November 15.

The evening - organised by Norfolk Anglers Conservation Association (NACA) - starts at 7.30pm with merchandise stands including NACA and the Pike Anglers Club.

Copies of Eddie and Jason's new book will also be available for purchase.

A raffle and licensed bar will be provided.

Admission charges apply – NACA members £3.00, non members £5.00.

Mega Pike Jason heads for Lincoln

Jason Davis thrilled the PAC's 30th Anniversary Convention when he unveiled a string of 35lbs-plus captures.

Norfolk-based Jason joined up with Eddie Turner to bring out a sequel to the legendary book Mega Pike, which was also unveiled at the Convention.

You can catch up with him in Lincoln next week, when he puts on a talk for the PAC's Region 48.

It's being held at the Turk's Head in Newport, Lincoln, from 8pm on Monday, October 1.

RO Chico Winterton said: "Big fish from all over the place plus his amazing captures from the last few seasons featured in Mega Pike the Return - stunning fish however you look at it.

"It will be a great talk in a more intimate venue than Stoneleigh, your chance to listen, learn and ask your questions."

Jason will have copies of Mega Pike - The Return with him on the night. If you ask him nicely, he might even sign one.

ET to land at PAC Convention

Mega Pike author Eddie Turner today confirmed he will be on the bill for the Piking 2007.

He'll be speaking about some of the stories in the long-awaited sequel to his celebrated book Mega Pike at the PAC's 30th Convention - along with co-author Jason Davis.

The pair have been coy about their captures until now. All we know is they are seriously special and their two-man talk is going to kick off a day not to be missed for any pike angler.

PAC promotions manager Mike Kelly said: "We're delighted they've chosen the PAC convention to reveal all for the first time."

The event is being held at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, on Saturday, September 22.

Jason set to reveal a piker's paradise

Norfolk-based pike hunter Jason Davis is the latest addition to the bill for Piking 2007.

He'll be telling the convention about the discovery of his own piker's paradise and an incredible week's pike fishing which rewrote the history books.

We'd love to tell you more but we can't just now. Jason has also collaborated with Eddie Turner on a new book which picks up the threads from the celebrated Mega Pike - regarded by many as the best book of its era - and helped to bring it bang up to date.

Both the book and its authors will also be at the convention, which is being held on September 22 at Stoneleigh, Warks.
