Northern Ireland gets set for first PAC event

Talks are well-advanced to secure a ground-breaking privileged access event for the PAC in Northern Ireland.

Special events organiser Mark Skinner and Northern Ireland RO Gordon Nesbitt have been in discussions over arranging access to a private lough in Northern Ireland for a two-day charity fish-in next winter.

More details of the event, which will be held under the banner of children's leukaemia charity CLIC Sargent, will be announced shortly.

Mark said: "It is great to be able to raise funds for CLIC whilst doing something we love, which is pike fishing, hopefully members will attend these events and together we can raise some much needed funds for a worthy cause."

The event will be a landmark for the PAC, which now has a thriving region and rapidly-growing membership in Northern Ireland.

RO Gordon Nesbitt said: "It means an awful lot to us."
